greg's xrays

Well, they didn't find anything which is good news apparently.

But more tests for Greg. Oh well.

Greg was telling someone about how sick he was. His proof was that he missed the beginning of the formula 1 race becuase he was on the "can".

Gregs Sick

Greg hasn't had much luck with his health lately. He had really chronic diarrhoea on Monday. So, slept most of the day. Then he felt all better on Tuesday. Then woke up this morning and good morning diarrhoea. Lovely.

Needless to say he's not getting much of his thesis written. Tomorrow we are going with Greg to Waitakere hospital. He's getting xrays done on his abdomen. So here's hoping they find something. Otherwise it's back to guesswork.

What's our flat like?

Well, it's two bedrooms both with queen beds. One room is downstairs,Jordan's room, and we have the upstairs room. The ceiling is a little low so Greg can't even stand up straight in it and he keeps banging his head on the smoke alarm.

We have a nice size lounge which will be good for playing RISK.

I was lying in bed the other day when it suddenly occured to me that we have no oven. So sorry guys, no more chocolate chip cookies.

Since our flat is on a main road, it's a little noisy but it doesn't really bother us. It really only affects us when we have the tv on or trying to watch a dvd. Jordy and I had the volume up to 100 and it was just audible. One of the movies we had to turn the subtitles on becos we couldn't hear the movie.

We are quite enjoying being here. Greg can walk to work, Jordy can walk to school and it's a little cheaper for me to get to work as well.

We've Moved!AND We've got a cell phone

Yes, due to unforeseen circumstances we've moved. We found ourselves a furnished flat which apparently is becoming more and more popular. Probably becos we're so transient now. Overseas travel is quite affordable and blah blah blah...you know the rest.

Greg texted a friend of his when we got our phone. All he texted was "Guess who" And Greg's friend texted back, "HI Greg"
How did he know it was Greg? Because apparently we're the only people in the whole world who don't have a cell phone.

RED EYE

It's a movie. Greg and I went to see it on Sunday. It was good. Moved at a good pace.

Jordy said she didn't want to see it because the main guy was too creepy.

Vienna or Oxford

Greg has been given a bona fide offer from Vienna. I'm very keen for him to accept. Oxford can't guarantee Greg a job and as Greg says..... "One in the hand is better than 1000 in the bushes."

I just want to know where we're going for definite. Greg can't understand what difference it makes. As far as he's concerned I know we're going so that's that. But I want to know exactly when we're going as well.

Buying a book

Well I was in a second hand book shop and I spotted one I thought might do but...... it was $12 which is a bit pricey. So, I ummed and ahhhed a bit trying to decide whether or not to buy it.

THen, I opened the book and .......it had J.Ewing written inside it. So I figured it was a sign and I bought it.

I've almost finished reading it and as far as signs go, it wasn't a very good one. It's a dumb book.

KUNG FU HUSTLE
The family went to this movie on Sunday for Father's day. I absolutely loved it. It was very well crafted.
I thought it was a visual feast and Greg says the balance of the scenes was very good.....complexity versus the subject. Not to mention the colours.

Jordan being a teenager thought the movie was wierd and didn't have a story.

There can be only one response to this.........hiiiiiiiiYAH!
