The Real David

No visit to Florence is complete without a visit to see the real David. Even though the fake David is just good, probably because the real David is indoors, and well displayed with lighting etc... it is somehow more impressive.

What we felt quite perplexing was how easy it was to miss the entrance to the David museum. Here Greg is waiting in line at the entrance. The wall on which he is leaning is covered in graffiti by previous bored queuers. As you can see, it just looks like any other apartment building and there are no nice big signs either to announce that here resides the real David.

More impressive than the David though, were Michaelangelo's unfinished sculptures. Definitely worth the journey.
