Aww why do we always get the broken one?

The blurb says, "Take an action-packed voyage through a pirate attack." But actually the scariest thing about this ride was the dark. There were so many screaming howling children in the underground.

It probably wouldn't have been so bad but there were some technical difficulties, which made the queue quite long. We derived some entertainment from watching the staff leaping round whilst trying to pretend that they had everything under control.

After about half an hour we were told sorry, the ride was closed and they didn't know if they'd reopen later. Bummer.

But they were. So we made another go of it from which you can't see this lovely picture of Jordan and I on the ride which turned out to be a very slow log/boat ride around an underground tunnel. It was quite lovely.
